The Process
Step one - Get in touch
Contact Adrián via email or phone and let him know what it is you’re looking to have made.
If you like one of Balamuta's designs but want to customize it, we are happy to do so. The designs are made from the highest-quality hardwood of choice. Oak (A/I), White Ash (A/I) and American Steamed Walnut (Prime) are standardly available.
If needed, Adrián may send a detailed questionnaire which will help us provide an accurate design and quote.
Step two - Price estimate
Adrián will provide you with a ballpark estimate based on the information provided. If the estimate is within your budget, you will both proceed to the next stage.
If you are interested in our work and have a desire for unique bespoke furniture made of hardwood such as tables, cabinets, and beds, which we do not yet have in our design gallery, reach out!
We will go over your ideas, and you will get acquainted with individual wood species.
Step Three - Design, Quote and Deposit Payment
There are multiple design options available. Adrián will be in touch to discuss these options with you. Once a final design is agreed upon, Balamuta will provide you with an official quote. If approved, a 50% deposit is required to confirm your order. A lead time will also be provided.
Step Four - The build begins
This is where your ideas are brought to life.

About Balamuta Studio
Balamuta Studio, based in Bratislava, Eastern Europe, belongs to and is operated by craftsman and furniture maker Adrián Krišák.
He works closely with his clients to create custom-made furniture that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. A fully qualified chair maker and Danish cord weaver.
Each piece of bespoke furniture is created with a focus on practical function. But Adrián wants each client to own a piece of handmade, custom furniture that enhances its surroundings as a piece of personalised artwork.
Operating area
Balamuta studio ships their chairs, benches, and stools easily all around Europe. We also provide restoring services for chairs as Danish cord weavers. Shipment of bigger builds is considered upon client's request.
